Tikwalus Interpretive Hub
Spuzzum, British Columbia
A tilted, truncated cone canopy structure supported on round timber columns. This hub will serve as a shelter and interpretive information centre for the Spuzzum First Nation. Design considerations include achieving effective tension and compression ring behaviour that is balanced with lateral stability requirements and the need for an open, warm space.
