Rayburn Road Residence

With a fully modelled and CNC'd prefab timber package featuring traditional wood joinery, this project represents the coming together of old and new. Workshop Engineers collaborated closely with the client who generated a detailed Cadwork model that was regularly updated through design and construction. The main level of the house features a concrete structure that has been designed to resist a 0.5m debris flow/landslide. The earthquake resisting system is comprised of ductile light wood framing wrapped around the timber superstructure.
