Glenora Timberframe

A 1,200 square-foot addition to an existing single family residence, this structure was designed to integrate the ductile behaviour of light wood-framed shear wall systems with the gravity load-bearing efficiency of timber frames. Workshop was engaged to act as the engineer of record, designing all aspects of the foundations and superstructure, including timber member sizing and joinery.
