FLUX and STONE

a large renovation and reprogramming of a heritage space in downtown Victoria to suit a new jewelry store. 

Structural aspects of the renovation included, but were not limited to, design of a new mezzanine space and access stairs, foundation renovations / upgrades to support new load points, and review of existing structural elements in locations with revised loading due to the renovation scope. 

Careful planning and coordination were required to ensure that the end result worked well for the new store's use and circulation.
