The Cowichan Bay Fire Hall has been designed at the intersection of light structure and robust performance. The hall superstructure, which consists of light wood frame, prefabricated wood trusses, and select steel elements, has been carefully optimized to serve the architectural design intent while meeting the demanding requirements of public safety buildings in a high seismic zone.
