Willis Point House

Victoria, British Columbia

Nestled into the face of a steep, rocky lot on the Saanich Peninsula, this two storey plus full height crawlspace residence features clean lines, bold roof and deck cantilevers, and an accessory building connected to the main house with a bridge walkway. Key structural aspects of the design included a three storey cast-in-place, buttressed concrete retaining wall system and hybrid structural steel/timber framing systems to help achieve the architectural design intent.
