A suite of four unique, high performance steel frames were designed in close collaboration with McGrath Contracting Ltd and Onsite Engineering Ltd for use at the TRIUMF particle accelerator facility located at UBC in Vancouver. The frames were designed to house various beamline modules for various uses including transportation, storage, and testing. High performance limits were necessary with some frames supporting well over 400,000 lbs and requiring very tight deflection tolerances. Usability, material efficiency, and performance were at the heart of Workshop's structural design for these frames.
